Can't connect iphone 6 to jbl charge using Bluetooth

Hey Arnoud1982 try this:

1. Open Bluetooth Preferences in the System Preferences
2. Find the JBL Charge 3 (JBLC3) and click on it to show the X button to click on
3. Turn Bluetooth off on the computer and the JBLC3 and then turn back on both devices
4. Back in Bluetooth preferences, find JBLC3 in the list and click on Pair
5. Hopefully your JBLC3 will make a sound indicating that you have connected and the power button will go blue.

edit: duh... just realised that this was for an answer for a computer and not an iPhone (apologies)...

I just finished with Harman Support and this is what worked for my JBL Charge 3:

1. Press the power button to turn the speaker on.

2. Press both the volume up ➕ and play/pause buttons (>||) at the same time until the speaker turns off (should only take a couple of seconds). This will reset the speaker.

3. Go to Settings on your iPhone and make sure bluetooth is active.

4. Power the speaker back on and press the bluetooth button on the speaker. Once it starts flashing, it should show up on the menu in your iPhone under My Devices.

5. Touch the speaker name and it will begin pairing to the speaker.

I understand your iPhone 6 connects fine to your car but not to your wireless Bluetooth speaker.

Same question: I never had a problem with my iPhone five. Just upgraded to iPhone six and it syncs great with my car, but can't find my jbl charge.

Hi, I had the same problem and solved it. Push your JBL Charge power button until it flashes red and blue. As soon as it is flashing red and blue it will be discoverable by your iPhone 6. I hope this helps.

Dont want to state the obvious but anyway....

I tested the Charge2 in the shop and purchased one. I then could not get mine to connect at home.

I realised I was trying to connect to the shop one still, so "forgot device" and connected to my own one !

RubaoCampos - Thank you very much, your "solution" worked like a charm. The key is to hold down the on/off button for a few seconds and wait until it starts flashing red & blue.

But with jbl charge 3 If you press power button it Will not turn red/blue. It Turns blue and If you keep pressing it nothing changes...

I still Cannot connect to iPhone 6S (: Any tips?
