Cheers!???? Are you kidding me? We need a solution, not a workaround. Upgrading to iOS 8 will brick our phones. A Week ago everything was OK. Give us a solution Apple!!!

Wanted to suggest .. Go to Settings - ITunes & App Store - Automatic Downloads - Updates .... I had 23 updates and all went through without any hiccup. Hope this helps

I Clicked the icon and it just sat there. No second offer to update was given. It is for my I Pad 7.0 but it would still be comparable I would imagine.

I just had the same issue, this is how i fixed it

go to Settings > General > Software Update

I updated my phone with the latest updates and finally my apps got updated
