I am not able to download App updates nor iTunes on my iPAD2

Although I am able to surf the web and do email, I am not able to download anything from App Store (new apps and updates) and iTunes. I recently upgraded my iPAD2 to IOS8.0.2. I have no problems with my iPADmini or iPhone 6. I tried resetting my iPAD, logging out & in of my account. Nothing works.

Reset your iPad. No data will be lost. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Aple logo appears on the screen. It takes about 10 seconds. Let go of the buttons when you see the logo and let the iPad start up.

If that still doesn't work, try resetting your modem. I realize that you may still be able to connect to the Internet, but it can help. Unplug it for about 30 seconds then plug it in again.

If you try the other solutions and nothing works, you may have to resort to resetting it back to the factory default condition. Here's someone else that had a good result on it (but on another issue). This will actually solve many different issues ... but do try the simpler solutions first. And always be sure to have your backups in order!

I would recommend doing a reset to factory default with the iTunes program and don't put your backup back on until you check it out, with this new revision, iOS 8.1, which has some bug fixes, besides new features which are included.

And, report how it's going with the new revision ...
