Can I embed a Numbers table in a WordPress page?

I mainly use Excel when embedding tables in my WordPress.com website. You can see an example here: http://billbennett.co.nz/2014/10/11/new-zealand-iphone-6-plus-plans-compared/

Numbers can produce better looking tables. I'd prefer to use the application.

To embed an Excel table, I have to store the document in OneDrive and then point to it from WordPress.

Presumably I can do something similar with Numbers and iCloud, but I've not figured out how to make it work. Has anyone else tried this?

1. Create a spreadsheet in the web version of Excel.

2. Move to the file menu

3. Select Share - from here you can choose to embed the whole workbook or just one of the tables

4. You then get some embedding code - I use the HTML version - cut and paste this from OneDrive into WordPress

5. It appears on the page.

It must be technically possible to do the same with Numbers and iCloud, whether there's an easy way to generate the embed code is another matter.

Very nice. One of the embedding choices seems to be an iFrame tag. In Numbers for iCloud I tried viewing the page source (in Safari menu Develop > Show Page Source) and choosing DOM tree, where I see iFrame. But that is as far as I can get; maybe you can get further. But I suspect Numbers for iCloud cannot do this. If you reach the same conclusion you might consider providing feedback to Apple (in your menu Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback).
