It keeps processing all my album artwork

Every time I ask itunes 7 to find artwork, even if it is just one song, it starts to process my entire library. I've allowed it to complete the process a couple of times, and it took about 20 minutes.
Is this supposed to happen? If so, it's a bit ridiculous.

Try this:
Quit iTunes and move the 'com.apple.iTunes.plist' file in ./Users/YourUsername/Library/Preferences to the desktop.
Then run iTunes and answer 'No' to all questions. At a given moment, if I remember correct, iTunes will ask you to get album artwork. Choose 'Cancel'.

If this doesn't work, you can put the 'com.apple.iTunes.plist' on the desktop to it's original location.

No other ideas I'm afraid.

I tried what was listed, and I still find it very annoying that every time I load a song in it, it has to process the artwork, albeit to find absolutely nothing. all the while freezing itunes so I can not do anything productive in it. I unchecked the box. Anyone have any other clues to turn off artwork processing?
another weird thing I have noticed is that everytime I start up iTunes it always determines the gapless playback for these same 8 songs, and also while it is processing gapless information, itunes is useless and wont let you click anything.
