Una opción sencilla es modificar los encabezados y cambiar la celda A3 de la tabla MES Y AÑO por el número 2 (ver imagen).

Esta celda está oculta.

you will have to make two changes:

1) Change the days of the week listed across the top row

2) change the formulas in every cell where the day number is shown (this is "harder" part)

to change 1) simple type in the new day names

To change 2) you need to make changes to the following items:

1) The main calendar

2) the previous month calendar

3) the next month calendar

For the Main calendar:

----------------------------------

update the day names in row 1

update the formulas as follows:

A2=Month and Year::$A$4+DURATION(0, 1− Month and Year::$A$5+ (7×(ROW()−2)÷2+COLUMN()))

this is shorthand for... select cell A2, then type (or copy and paste from here) the formula:

=Month and Year::$A$4+DURATION(0, 1− Month and Year::$A$5+ (7×(ROW()−2)÷2+COLUMN()))

hit the return key. select cell A2, copy

select row 2, paste

select row A, copy

select row 4, now hold the command key and select rows 6, 8, 10, and 12

paste

For the previous month calendar:

update the first letter for the day of the week in row 2

now update the formulas in row 3 as follows:

A3=Month and Year::$A$8+DURATION(0,COLUMN()− Month and Year::$A$9+1)

select A3, copy,

select A3 thru G3, paste

For the next month calendar:

update the first letter for the day of the week in row 2

A3=Month and Year::$A$12+DURATION(0,COLUMN()− Month and Year::$A$13+1)

select A3, copy,

select A3 thru G3, paste

now save this as a template using the menu item "File > Save As Template..."

Hi Wayne,

I'm italian and I'm try to do what you've wrote for my Template but.... the result for me is wrong. Maybe is in the translation. I've try to do in this way:

User uploaded fileafter this I've saw many red triangles.

Ok now I've copy the cell A2 than select the row 2 and paste.

After you wrote about row A (but there is not a "row A" but a "column A")??? So what my I do?

Thanks for your help!!! 🙂

What is the error message you get when you click the triangle?

Also you say you are trying to do what I did but the formula you used is clearly different (omitting the change in language). Can you share what you intend to do?

If I had to guess what the message is I would guess that there is an invalid reference or invalid date/duration based on the math using rows and columns.

Can you post a screenshot?

Hi Wayne and thanks for support me ;-)

So the error when I apply the first formula: A2=Mese e anno::$A$4+DURATA(0; 1 − Mese e anno::$A$5+(7×(RIGA()−2)÷2+COLONNE())) is

User uploaded file Columns need an argument or arguments, but received 0.

So after different trying I put "1" into parenthesis of columns so the result is:

A2=Mese e anno::$A$4+DURATA(0; 1 − Mese e anno::$A$5+(7×(RIGA()−2)÷2+COLONNE(1))). After this the result is quite right but not "all right" I'm explained it.

If I change only the first formula (A2 cell) the result is:User uploaded file

As you can see the days are correct but the 1st of february is greyed and not in the top right of the template as 1st day of the row as you can see in this other template (manually made)

I know you are a monster in formulas :-) can you resolve it? (hoping my english is comprensible)

Thanks

the error message is telling you that the function columns() (colenne() in Italian) requires and argument. The argument it expects is a reference to a table. You correctly realized you needed to provide an argument but did not understand the type of argument. You provide the value "1" but the function is answering the question .... "How many columns does the table I am referencing have?" Therefore try the function:

A2=Mese e anno::$A$4+DURATA(0; 1 − Mese e anno::$A$5+(7×(RIGA()−2)÷2+COLONNE("FEBBRAIO 2015")))

In case I misspelled the table name just select any row of the table by click the row header (the numbers on the very left)
