There is a new version of Server 4.0 for Yosemite on the App Store.
I think version 3.2.2. is for Mavericks.
Indeed. You are right. I've been pulling the trigger on too many other updates to have checked that it was EOL'ed. Thank you.

For ios and mac developers the server is free. Just redeem your code.
Well it looks like we don't get an update because the server app does not show in purchases. No purchase = no update. Will call support in a little while.

If you want the OS X server for Yosemite you need to buy it again
If you are a current iOS or Mac developer you can download Server v4.0 from the Apple Developer Member Centre for free as mentioned above.
Seems strange other have to upgrade when nearly everything else is free upgrades, but they give away so much free (built into cost of hardware) it's still great value compared our Microsoft.
Agreed, and if it was for free, then everyone and their Grandma would install it. Which means you would be getting support questions from Grandma on how to configure SMTP port forwarding for Email relay when using a dynamic IP.
Ok, maybe NOT that type of question, but it is a barrier for those that really should not install it while still offering years of updates cheaper than a single version of Windows Server.
I have looked all over the Apple developer members site but can't find a key or a server download.
Why would apple release 3.2.2 with Yosemite support at the same time as Yosemite - then it doesn't work and we need to buy version 4
They cant get away with this legally - announcing 3.2.2 with Yosemite support then it doesn't support yosemite.

That would be silly. Update 3.2.2 states that is supports Yosemite clients in the Profile Manager, not that it supports Yosemite.
That means that a Mavericks Server can manage a Yosemite client. Not that 3.2.2. runs on Yosemite.
So, no class action suit there for sure.
think back guys they did the same with the move to mavericks - Mountain Lion server would not work. But as I recall on that occasion they didn't announce mavericks support on the mountain lion version.
I have paid for server twice now and twice they have removed it from my purchase record in App Centre (or Center if you're american)
Has anyone checked the T's and C's of app Centre to see if they can remove your purchase records without informing the user.
They should not be allowed to get away with this behaviour.
