OS X Server App Removed From "Purchased" List

Exact same situation here... Server 3.x.x totally vanished from purchases as of today.

On the other hand, still have plenty of Developer Preview OS installers listed which I assumed would have disappeared by now.

Confirmed that it's not present under hidden purchases either.

Maybe this is also why it doesn't offer me to upgrade my version 3.2.2 (that doesn't work anymore with Yosemite) to version 4.0, and just offer me to buy it again.

It's not even as though I care about the upgrade cost - I have a 4.0 license via the dev center, however I have Mavericks machines that I need to run server on.

My Server app has also been removed from the app store and same thing as others, it offers to sell me 3.2.2 again??? And nothing appears in Updates?? A glitch that I didn't want!

I registered my developer copy of server 4 thinking that maybe my mavericks machines would get the "download older version compatible with your system" message that some of Apple's apps prompt for compatibility, but no luck. I've emailed the app store support team. Hopefully they restore this app fast.

I found that it disappeared from all systems (both Yosemite and Mavericks). However, it still appears in the upgrade screen if you haven't upgraded to the most recent version (although with Yosemite, it returns a cryptic error about the software not being compatible if you try to upgrade Server after upgrading to Yosemite).

That's also confusing me what's the upgrade policy of OS X server when I saw new app is necessary to pay but old one is disappeared in the purchased list instead. My OS X server version is keeping 3.2.2 and suffer the same compatibility feedback with Yosemite, hope we get a positive response from Apple.

The upgrade policy is this:

Point updates are free and work on the OS version they were originally designed for: i.e. Bug fix releases and feature updates for Server 3 will only work and run on Mavericks Servers. So if your Mac OS X is upgraded to Yosemite, you need to purchase Server 4. If you are still running Mavericks, you can update to Server 3.2.2 to add compatibility for Yosemite Clients.

We're just waiting to find out why users can no longer re-download Server 3 while they are on Mavericks units.

Alright, that means I need to remove 3.2.2 manually and it will not work until I buy a new one for Yosemite. Thanks for the answer!

You shouldn't have to remove it. You can just purchase 4.0 from the app store (or if you're a developer login to your account for your redemption code). Installing 4 while you have 3.2.2 will transfer all your information over properly. This is the recommended upgrade method.

Would you please tell me where is the link to get redemption code? I have ever applied my account to be developer but still new. Thanks for the advice.

It should be on the main page of your developer account after you've logged in. I'm an iOS developer (not a mac developer) and after you login to https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action just scroll down and you'll see it under "Downloads" near the bottom. Both Server 3.2.2 and 4.0 are down there.

I had the same problem too. Server 3.2.2 is not compatible withOS X Yosemite and they want you to pay $19.99 again. I just purchased the server join August! I think is deceptive if you know that an app is going to be obsolete and you allow people to purchase it when it is almost the EOL for the app without letting the customer know. I would have waited an month before throwing away $19.99!!!
