OS X Server App Removed From "Purchased" List

Has anyone else's Server app been removed from their Mac App Store purchase history? I'm not sure if this occurred today, but i noticed it in the midst of all the new releases.

I'm noticing that not only OS X Server 3.x.x is missing, but my old OS X Server 2.x.x as well. OS X Lion Server however is still there.

I have verified that they are NOT in the hidden app list. I have reached out to AppleCare (phone) about this issue, he has assured me that on their end they both showing up so he attempted to "Regrant" my purchase history, but it did not resolve. Awaiting a call back from him.

Thanks

I think Apple needs to do something about this. I purchased Server about two weeks ago to setup a VPN. It didn't work and then I update the OS and it's completely gone. I know they do what they can to help customers, but it's pretty clear from the screenshots that the updates are primarily cosmetic. To pay another $20 to (probably) find out that it might not work for what I want it to do seems a little crazy. I realize it's possible to just cancel the purchase on my card, but that doesn't really seem equitable. I realize that the response to "I assumed it's an Apple application and it should carry over to the new os we're being pushed to upgrade to" gets a "You shouldn't assume. It's somewhere buried in the fine print" - But if were loyal users who just want to use the thing we purchased, it seems like there should be an upgrade code or something.

(This says in reply to HaeckDesign, but applies to the thread in general rather than that post specifically)

There seem to be two issues in this thread:

The original issue that the thread was started about:

Those of us who bought it on Mavericks and still want to use it on Mavericks but can't because it's been removed from our purchased list.

And the second issue which this thread seems to be diverting onto:

Paid for it on Mavericks, updated to Yosemite and don't want to pay to get 4.x, which has nothing to do with issue that this thread is about, but seems to be happening in multiple other threads as well, which only serves to confuse matters.

Yes, it's a pain that Apple charge for new major version numbers on Server, but Server has always been a paid upgrade, and probably will be for the foreseeable future, we've known Yosemite was coming for months now, so nobody should be surprised - it's not like they just jumped out on stage on Thursday and yelled "Surprise, new OS!", if you want to run Yosemite on your server you have to be prepared to pay for the license - just be thankful that it's no longer a $1000 license as in the old days. If you feel you've been short changed, reach out to Apple directly or apply for refunds etc, but please don't divert threads away from other issues because of it - the original poster and others of us in this thread are trying to get back our access to our 3.x.x downloads so that we can use them on the OS they were intended for.

Agree. Absolutely disgusting. Now 3.3 appears but wont download to El Capitan here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/os-x-server-3.2.2/id714547929?mt=12

On Mavericks it doesn't appear in the appstore. In El Capitan it does, along with Aperture. Aperture isn't even present on server to download, and OSX Server 3.3 doesn't have a download method, neither does it have a review tab.

On Mavericks it doesnt say free it asks to pay. On El Capitan it wont download.

its very bad that updating the OS makes your purchased apps deprecate and lose the purchase. Be it legal or not, its not pleasant for the customers, and Apple loses popularity because of it. in fact, it shows its true colors as a corporate entity that doesnt give a flying hoot about its customers. i havce contacted apple support about 15 times and never receive an answer. Nobody Home except moderators on these forums, who always state that Apple employees dont read these forums (what a forum without moderators? no way).

Upgrade to El Capitan loses final cut pro, aperture, and osx server to name a few, and doesnt respect the fact that people purchased them, and dont know they are going to lose them when they update their os.
