Where is option to have side bar in iTunes 12 ?

Since, 11 iTunes has been disabling my option of having the sidebar... which is annoying... but now I cant find the option to have it again... since I found this better and easier to use than that ribbon of silly icons... It is a pain in the neck dragging a song to my iPod, in its specific playlist(still don't know how to do it properly in this new version) ... This is why I had the side bar, it was constant to the GUI design of Finder...

Please enable the option to have iTunes sidebar again... the flat GUI is irritating as it is, but getting rid of the option to have the sidebar just made me crazy, mad and insane.

Well ... in that case ... simply ask all the producers, chiefs, sub-chiefs and all the different department managers ...

You can have the best design, it's worthless if the developers are not as good and simple thinking in code as the concept and

the design behind it.

PERIOD!

But you can do non-sense work daily to satisfy your boss and end up like this ..

... and it ends up like this the same way for the product itself.

PERIOD!

Thank the smart people for making Winamp for mac !!!!! New itunes interface = waste of time. I was happy with 11. Infact, i would have used it for anoghter 20years !!!

Before I went mac, winamp was great, look the same for 10 years and work just as well on the last day I used it. Who got time for re-learning a POS version with missing features ????

I think the iTunes / Winamp situation is the same as the Mail / Thunderbird issue, where a third party App is far better than the clunky in-house version. The fact that a third party App is quicker, more responsive and works seamlessly is interesting, when the relevant Apple Apps are clearly not as good. It's a pity because the issue appears to be about change for the sake of it rather than integrity as, Apple seem to make changes all the time as if the Apps will devalue without constantly interfering with them. It's an apparent addiction at Apple. We still breathe air and drink water, that alone should tell Apple something. The simplicity and workability of an App is everything and iTunes and Mail have suffered along the way. Each new OSX brings the hope of redemption, however, it's a lost cause because the self justification always overrides common sense.

well it does demonstrate that "better" is a very subjective measurement. For instance, Thunderbird's absence of Applescript support make it quite useless to some users...
