Yosemite load failure "NSInternalinconsistencyException"

NSInternalinconsistencyException is the note given for not being able to upgrade the operation system of my 27" iMac.

I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8

Processer 2.66GHzIntel Cor iS

Memory 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3


Does anyone else have this problem or a suggestion as how to fix.

So what I did was used my 10.9 install and downloaded it there. If you guys would download the 10.9 mavericks first then the Yosemite then upgrading would be easier. "I know it's double the problem/bandwidth/time, but it works." Still Pi$$ed. Remember to copy the yosemite install app somewhere else so you don't have to re download it anytime in the future for other installs.
