Yosemite load failure "NSInternalinconsistencyException"

Well it just worked. I made sure all updates were installed for every app on the computer, did a full shut down and restart, and voila. it worked. Could have been the timing coincided with a fix on Apple's end however 😉

What just worked for you, the Yosemite download?

Yes the download. It's almost completely installed now.

I have no reason to lie silly. Was furious it wasn't working.

I'm giving it another shot. Fingers crossed.

It's been long enough that the issue has probably been looked in to.

Just as an aside, avoid downloading any software from cnet, that place is shady and completely laden down with insidious computer viruses.

I'm having exactly the same issue trying to upgrade from 10.6.8. It downloads 5.16 of 5.16 then I get the error message all you guys seem to get. 4 attempts with the same message is 4 attempts too many! I've tried rebooting etc.... I'm now planning to wait a couple of weeks for Apple to get their act together and hopefully fix this.

yeah this is the last time im trying, running 10.6 Intel Core 2 Duo 2GB (early 2009) imac.

Heres to hoping for the best I'm currently at 3.93 GB out of 5.16 GB 15 mins to go !

Confirmed model 11,2 iMac running 10.6.8 was able to download Yosemite from the App Store.

Now let's hope that Yosemite isn't a buggy pile of garbage. 🙂

finally downloaded and installing. (10.6.8 mac mini)

I'm gonna go with buggy pile of garbage... having all kinds of connectivity issues after the update. Safari will connect to the internet, but as soon as I open chrome the machine won't connect to the internet anymore. Awesome!

It's working now. It was a bug on the download. Apple resolved.
