I have just installed Yosemite on my MacBook pro, when I'm not using my vpn the internet works perfectly. However, as soon as I switch it on no pages will open???
Any ideas??

I'm having a similar problem, when I connect to the VPN site that uses F5's network access, internet connection stops and can't connect at all with any site. This didn't happen in Mavericks.
Exactly the same here. All was ok with Mavericks but now when connecting to my work Exchange Server via VPN it stops all internet traffic on my Macbook. I've tried changing my home ip address range (as read that this could be conflicting with Exchange Server's), ticked on/off just about every option in settings but still no joy. Would be great if anyone can help solve this.
OK...seen another post on this subject which 'cured' my issue as follows:
Open System Preferences>Network
Choose your VPN service
Click Advanced tab
Click DNS tab
Then click the + symbol (bottom of DNS Servers column)
Add 8.8.8.8
This immediately sorted the issue out for me and all local network services work whilst connected to my office's Exchange VPN. Have no idea what this does or adds!
The only other thing I done (as other posts suggested) was to click the settings icon in the Network Preferences main window and chose Set Service Order and shifted my VPN to the top, WiFi 2nd and Bluetooth 3rd. Not sure this is needed but saw a few posts that suggested this.
Hi WickWok, I am not using a VPN service, I am logging through a webpage that downloads F5 network access. I've tried with Safari, Firefox and Chrome in all cases the same, session status indicates that it is connected but all internet access is down, if I terminate the session I can navigate through internet again.

I'm facing similar issue. that Im not able to RDC to my office laptop... My company uses f5 VPN ... evenrthing was fine in Mavericks.. When i upgrade to Yosemite.. It stopped working... This is affecting my work very much... can someone pl provide solution for this??

Exactly the same here. I'm using the Big-IP Edge Client app, but the result is the same through browsers too.

Does anyone know if there was ever a fix found for this? I'm having the same issue. This is the first thread that I've found that matches exactly ... f5 ... no internet once connected ... (sorry for opening an old thread ... but hoping one of the original posters or replies found a fix).
No, haven't found a workaround for this yet, is frustrating having to use a Windows XP virtual machine to be able to connect to a VPN on a Mac!!!!!

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
