Yosemite Battery Drain

I have been using Yosemite Beta for about a month. My battery drained incredibly fast using the Beta. I suspected battery issues would improve after updating to the public release of Yosemite yesterday. The issue has not resolved, however. Just in the last minute and a half of typing this question, my battery percentage has dropped 3%!

When you update, you get the notification that you need to optimize your mac to prevent excessive battery drain, but there is no description of how to optimize within Yosemite or on the web. How does one optimize their mac for Yosemite?

Apple, get on this!

I agree with jollsca50 in his last reply. The question is, why you didn't go through the internet trying to find the solution? That's because you don't have the problem? If it is, sorry mate, but I can't argue with someone that only read what he wants from a reply and don't have any tecnology base to discuss.

Btw, I stoped searching almost 6 months ago, so I really won't search for links just for you.

Do it your way if you want to, let me know how that works out for you.

Csound1 - for me it was the fix El Capitan- version 10.11.2 (see my previous post) - might be because I did a PRAM and SMC reset before the update (I was on Yosemite before).

Now I am afraid to update to 10.11.3 because my battery goes perfectly with this version of El Capitan.

I am sorry if I don't have the perfect answer for you guys (I am not an expert user) and if is not working for everybody, but this is what I have done.

I think a good reply from your part Csound1 it will be if you will came with something that you have tried and worked or not for your battery life. For instance, have you already tried what I have described in my previous post and your battery still does the same? What have you tried so far and did not work for you?

Please do not misunderstand me, I want this discussion to be useful for all users.
