Ah, and I didn't mention that you should backup your system before you install, or at least have a copy of the data your recipe app writes. Just in case.
I should note that I found the topic on Adobe's site. It's the other way around from what I posted earlier. Any install of the CS5 or CS6 apps is the cause of odds problems on some Macs. Like suddenly having issues saving files to a server, or video captures stopping on their own. Reinstalling the OS after the Adobe apps fixes the problem.
