iCloud Drive on iPhone iOS 8

I have iCloud drive set up on all my devices. I have Yosemite installed. I see the drive syncing between my computers, but I cannot find the iCloud drive app on my iPhone to show me my files. I'm referring to the way it looks here:

i should preface that I'm using iPad Air and iPhone 6+, but not certain if that makes a difference in the functionality or not.

Also, when my iMac is updating the Apple iCloud I find that PDF Expert, and the Apple IOS apps, for that matter, will not work and the iCloud dialog box will just close or freeze. Documents that are not yet uploaded will also be greyed out, though tough to see (on iPhone especially) since the file name does show either way. In any case it looks like the user is the guinea pig on Apple's attempt to provide an iCloud. Given how Apple is trying to differentiate itself, ie watch, what they have attempted here plainly ***** and many of the new IOS8 functionalities are very buggy and inconsistent as well. I'll keep trying the iCloud and report what I find. Maybe Apple will find it in its ultimate wisdom to get the iCoud right one day

Many people don't understand that iOS does not include a system-wide file manager like the Mac does. This is why there is no default file manager app on our iOS devices. You can, however, use an app like Documents, by Riddle, to access all of your file in iCloud Drive. Cloud Drive Explorer is another app that includes this functionality. These apps aren't system-wide file managers, iOS isn't set up that way, but they do have the capability to access iCloud Drive. It helps to understand the system and how it operates.

I have to respectfully disagree with the statement that "people don't understand that IOS does not include..." . Based on Apple's own advertising shown below, it does include IOS devices. The clear impression is that all is accessible and usable like any other cloud storage drive. Clearly this is not what it turned out to be and ultimately may not have been the intention by Apple but then their advertisement on their own website that explains their iCloud drive is misleading.

Because with iCloud Drive, you can safely store all your presentations, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and other kinds of documents in iCloud. So they’re always accessible from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or even PC.
