Bluetooth audio lag

I have the same problem with late 2008 macbook. There is huge delay that is not allowing me serving sound through bluetooth.

The stuttering on my BOSE Bluetooth speaker has now reached the point where it is un-listenable.

Are we really at the point where there are 18 pages of people suffering the same tech problem, and we still haven't heard anything from any Apple people?

utterly shoddy. I doubt I will ever upgrade OS straight away, ever again.

+1 with a Mid2010 Macbook Pro and a Nokia BH-901 headset.

This is disgusting.

19 Pages of people with serious problems and not a word from Apple.

We run a small language School, our Teachers use Bluetooth Headsets which now are completely usesless.

We had to buy Cable Headsets for all our Teachers to provide our Service to our Students!

We need a Solution, now!

i believe this is Yosemite. I have a late 2009 8gb, SSD mac Mini, and had the same issues... the problems became worse for me, effecting all AV sources. Luckily, I had just upgraded to an SSD with Mavericks, and then CC cloned from my old hdd.

i wrote the following about a month ago...Hope this helps.

In a seemingly unrelated problem, If I tried to save a photo out of a browser, download an app, etc.. The access to disks was dog slow.

Further, I had the well known Wifi problem reported all over the web.

These problems persisted even after the latest update to 10.10.1

I have an SSD with Yosemite on it, but I had recently CCCd from a spinning mac drive which was Mavericks. Then I updated the SSD to Yosemite.

As a Sanity check, I rebooted from the old spinning mac drive into Mavericks, and just like magic, my chronic problems disappeared! All of them!

I have since CCCd the SSD back to Mavericks, and my Mac Mini is now lightning fast... no exaggeration.

In my opinion, this is a software-hardware interface or I/O software issue, which affects all devices: Wifi, HDD, Sound, Video, Bluetooth, and anything else you may have attached. I also feel that this “fix” will be a long time coming due to its far-reaching nature.

Let me know if there is a fix, till then, Ill stick with Mavericks.

any word on fixing bluetooth lag?

Just want to report that updating to 10.10.2 pre-release have resolved the bluetooth lag/popping noise issue for me.

What hardware are you using? Updating does nothing for me.

WAKE UP APPLE!!!! REGRESSION TESTING ON OLDER HARDWARE? QA Groups? Testing processes. Apple, please let me know if you need a QA lead resume or two????????

Same here. MBP mid-2009, OS X 10.10.1. Crazy lag and intermittent skipping when streaming to a variety of Bluetooth audio devices. No problem yesterday when I still ran Mavericks. (Or Mountain Lion, Lion or Snow Leopard for that matter). C'mon Apple!

Guys, please stop complaining.

Have you red our previous messages? From 10.10.2 there are no more lags with bluetooth audio, be patient because Apple is working on it!

Monsieur, the completely messed up Bluetooth Audio is not a minor bug, its a big mess.

I still can't believe nobody checked this before the release of Yosemite.

people who have waited for 2 months for the functionality of their (pricey) computer equipment to work again, should not be told to "stop complaining"

there were many things Apple could have done, like test Yosemite properly before releasing it, or at a minimum acknowledging the problem right away, rather than just leave people twisting in the wind

until it's fixed, I won't stop replying.

I just can't believe this kind of problem come from a company that just spend billion dollars to buy a headphone company. can they at least spend a few mill to fix this problem? This is simply being ignorant from the apple side
