Installed Yosemite today. Magic Mouse instantly broken.User uploaded file It does connect sometimes, but the tracking is sluggish and gestures don't work at all. Worked fine in Mavericks. Batteries @80%.

Re-pairing does NOT work for me. zaping PRAM does NOT work for me.

Okay, I logged in as a different user and the problem persisted. I then booted into recovery mode and ran the disk utility. First I ran verify and it discovered some problems. I then ran "Fix" and it seemed to fail, but I ran "Verify" then "Fix" again and it said it was repaired. Finally when I exited out of the DiskUtil it gave me the option to "Re-Install Mac OS". After 9hrs of re-installing- BINGO! It worked! Magic Mouse is now working as smooth as it did in Mavericks. 🙂

Thanks Old Toad!

Hello,

The problem persist. I have this problem on a macbook pro 13" retina display. Upgraded to Yoseminte and big problem, my Apple Magic did not working anymore. After i replace batteries, restart mac, turn off turn on bluetooth several times, i connect the mouse. But guess what? After i close the lid and i go home, when open the mac again, surprise: NO MOUSE.

Please be serious and get an answer to this issue, both are your products, if APPLE products get errors of communications, what I should expect from others.

People buy Apple for commodity and for less number of problems, in fact Apple products are not so good as you think. So if you have problems like I cannot connect a mouse with a Macbook Pro, then Apple fail.

Guess what, in your Apple stores, people who maybe know some english, don't know to solve this problem, and they told me is a personal problem.

For sure I have personal problem with my mouse...

Thank you for testing Yoseminte before official Launch.

With respect,

Shanaki
