Same issues here ...

2012 13 Retina have two different magic mice and both have connection issues since updating to 10.10, tried resets, restarts and battery changing. It occurs with two separate mice so I highly doubt it is a hardware issue and more so a software problem with 10.10

This really seems to be a problem with the bluetooth itself since my other bluetooth hardware has connection problems as well.

How does Apple release software like this?

Why am I paying a premium for their products only to have them not even work????

Im having similar issues since updating to Yosemite. Magic Mouse just loses connection out of nowhere... seems to be bluetooth related more than just specifically Magic Mouse related.

It will just drop the connection sometimes.... if I move the mouse around and wait a few seconds it will usually connect again.... but this is really annoying and has only started with Yosemite.

I have the latest updates also... no change.... keeps happening.

my wireless magic mouse wouldn't connect after having had my computer shut off for two weeks (normally, it's just sleeping). i tried a number of solutions with nothing fixing the problem. what finally worked was turning off the 2.4ghz mode in the the wireless router. i read that 2.4 can interfere with bluetooth, now i am just using the 5ghz channel on the router and everything is working great.

just throwing it out there as another thing to try.
