iphone 6 verizon shipping delay

We recently ordered two iphone 6's on seperate dates, the first was to ship on Oct 31, it came already. Mine was to ship on Oct 24.....it did not. Just found out it will not ship till Nov 11-19!!!! Verizon says they didn't get their shipment from apple. Not happy to say the least.

@orcid73 when did you order the one that came on oct 31...it's crazy isn't it?! wish we'd get a response from APPLE...

I had the same problem with the site, it just read processing then that the site was having issues. Then we got the email that it wouldn't ship til next month.

I haven't received any emails from Verizon other than the original confirmation of my order. If I hadn't called them or gone to the store to inquire, I would just be assuming that one phone would be delivered on 10/28 and the other on 11/4. After reading other posts in this conversation, others are sharing same frustrations.

The one that was scheduled for Oct 31 was ordered around the 15th of October and got here already. We had gone to the store over and over and they never had any in stock. So finally ordered them, the second one was ordered on the 18th to ship on 24th, that one now has been delayed to mid Nov. Looks like some ordered before the one that came early and are still waiting! The one that came is a 16g and the one that is now delayed is a 64g. I have read that the 6+ is seeing delays of up to 8 weeks.

Just went to my local verizon store to check on my order and it's going to ship Monday. He gave me the tracking number for it and said I should receive an email tomorrow saying it shipped. Ordered 9-22 64gb SG 6+. I'll update tomorrow and keep updates till the phone arrives. The Verizon rep did say the verizon status page is BS

thx for the update @jimmyh284 -- that's good news for you...did you also happen to call them? curious to know why the guy at the store knows but site/service rep doesn't....let's hope apple and/or verizon sees this and gives you at least a credit of some sort...kind of ridiculous that you're left in the dark

I Called Verizon on Tuesday because it had been a month with no status update on the verizon site. At first she told me my order was cancelled then after 30 mins of digging she said never mind it's ok. she said she talked to two supervisors and the warehouse before they realized they mixed some numbers up. You could say I was steaming! So now I'm order is good and the 11/7 ship date is still on time. So I looked at the site for 4 days with still no change whatsoever. I looked online and seen that verizon was sending out emails saying that Apple was running behind and now people is starting to see 11/14 ship dates. I never received an email saying any of this so I decided to go to my local verizon. I live in Mt.Vernon IL so I'm like hr and half from any city. I ask the verizon guy to check on a pre order and he looked up my account and said its going to ship Monday and here is the tracking number. I said why is the site not updating with this info. He said the site doesn't update like it's supposed to 95% of the time and you should have your phone by Wednesday. So after a month go to a verizon store and have them look. The stupid Verizon site won't tell you anything most of the time.

Hey guys, just wanted to keep you updated. I received notification my iPhone 6+ 64GB blk shipped 10/26 and should receive on 10/29. So that's about a week early than what was estimated. Good luck to the rest of you 😉

The verizon page still says shipping out 10/24 and processing. They could at least update the system. As I have been reading though, I wonder if Apple's launch in China has do to with all of our orders suddenly being delayed????? They just launched I think last week, wonder if they made that a priorty over placed orders, not cool if so, not cool.

I Ordered mine on 10/06/14 waiting for 3 weeks now. Expected shipping date "11/14/14" weird thing is, if you order right now it's the same shipping date. So obviously their getting a large shippment and just bullsheeting us.. Def going to the note 4.

I ode red on the first day and was given 11/7 to 11/29. 2 months for Gods sake. I do not understand this from Apple but I do feel your pain.

I Ordered our phones(6-64g 6+-128g) on sept 20th with a ship date of 10/31. The following Sunday 10/28 we took our neighbors to verizon to switch carriers and order their phones at a verizon store. One neighbor ordered the exact phones I did color and memory and the other neighbor ordered two 6+ 128g space gray. Both got a ship date of 10/31 also. The problem is that both neighbors received their phones Monday 10/27. ***!!! Glad they got their phones but I ordered mine 8 days earlier FML!!

What the **** is going on with Apple, I am very surprised at the way they have handled the product this time around. I just do not get it. Something is up and we are not being told. It has to be. This company is too good to be doing this to their customers. I ordered my phone 6+ 128 gray color on the very first day and I do not get mine until November.

Now, with China in the mix, we may not have to hold our breath at all until next year? Did something by chance happen to the glass for the iPhones where Apple had to remake them or recall them back? I heard something to that effect today.

Someone clarify please. I am trying to not think about it at this point and just wait my turn. It is what it is.
