iCloud Drive - Shortcut

The Finder Path Bar is disabled by default, but it only takes a few seconds to enable it.

1. Start by opening a Finder window. An easy way to do this is to click the Finder icon in the Dock.
2. With a Finder window open, select Show Path Bar from the View menu.
3. The Path Bar will now display in all of your Finder windows.

Thanks WallaceTech. Your solution allowed me to access iCloud Drive files from within Bloomberg Anywhere (a remotely hosted service featuring Bloomberg and Excel. The trick is simply going to View Options for my Home folder and selecting "Show Library Folder." That apparently allows remote viewing of the folder and its contents.

It's actually way simpler than that. Just open Cloud Drive in Finder and drag the Cloud Drive folder from the path bar at the bottom.

@c.s.anders That's a terrible suggestion. Dragging the Cloud Drive folder from the path bar will copy everything instead of creating a shortcut.

Open Cloud Drive in Finder and drag an alias of the Cloud Drive folder from the path bar at the bottom. (hold down command and option while dragging)

It works if you hold down the option and command keys while dragging (to create a short cut).

i tried this but haven't got a pathway bar at the bottom. how do i get the pathway bar to show up in finder?
