App Store says I have apps to Accept after Yosemite Upgrade

I officially upgraded to Yosemite on my main disk after having participated in the public beta using a spare external disk, and everything went well until I got to the app store.

Apparently the App Store is convinced I have to 'accept' the 'bundled applications' iMovie and iPhoto. This message actually got in the way of me installing the updates to those applications (they wouldn't show in the Updates tab/panel and had to be located manually).

I already have both iMovie and iPhoto associated with my Apple ID. I have already attempted to contact the official support staff, but have recieved no answer yet and it's been practically 24 hours since I made contact. Attempting to 'accept' anyway only throws up an error.

I want this annoying message on my purchases list to vanish!

Additionally, the annoying message is present whether I am logged in to the app store or not. There are three things that I think could cause this:

1. Some sort of promotion gone wrong.

2. A bug in the app store or the Yosemite installer.

3. A corrupt file somewhere.

I have tried deleting the file 'adoption.plist', but that seemed to have no effect, and I am starting to get desperate.

I also experienced this problem after upgrading to Yosemite. Imovie and iphoto. App Store says they need accepting, yet after clicking accept and entering my Apple ID credentials, nothing happens i.e., the App Store merely says the two apps have already been accepted but the notification for accepting the two apps still remained. Imovie and iphoto appears to be updated though.

Same for me, which I've reported in two other forum threads that report this particular problem. There may be more threads as people often create a new one instead of searching to see if the problem has already been reported.

Also, it's been indicated in these forums many times that Apple personnel do not monitor these discussions. To report a problem directly to them you need to send feedback here: http://www.apple.com/feedback

I reported this problem to them this morning.
