How to stop auto replay on fcpx timeline

Hello friends.

Please i need your help... This is embarrassing but for some reason i cant remember how to stop clips on my timeline from replaying automatically on fcpx when i decide to test out a clip. i dont even know how i enabled it in the first place. i have tried everything to no success. each time i play a clip to the end on the time line, it automatically restarts the whole video from the beginning again and it goes on and on like that.. what to do.. Thanks in advance

The shortcut toggles it on and off. If you've changed the shortcut use the View>Playback menu.

hey, tried that just now still the same... you have tried alot for me today ... thanks for your time and patience.. i will probably have to mail the apple team on this... looks like an issue.

Sorry to bother you again... but it just started again, when i choose from the list there it only does the action once then goes back to keep looping playback.

by the way, my audio skimmer wont turn off .. it stays on and the blue lighted buttons wont go grey or show signs of it turned off ... do you think i could have a bug on mine?

Try resetting your preferences. Hold Opt-Cmd as you relaunch the application.
