Notification Centre does not Remember Settings

I have the same problem.

I found all the apps I had on the first launch of Yosemite.
For example, websites that I added after no longer appear

I really don't care for notifications, so one of the first things I did when notification centre was introduced was to remove almost every app from it. Yosemite reset all of these, which was pretty annoying, but I changed them all again and moved on. But like the other posters in this thread, after a reboot all my customisation was lost. This is absolutely consistent - every reboot resets the settings to defaults. Pretty annoying!

My MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) had that problem too

Issue seems consistent. I, like some of you that I have seen post, hate being notified of things on my macbook pro13''. The fix I used (which will stop all notifications) was set my computer to do not disturb and set the time from 7am to 6am. That way when i Turn my computer on( because I'm never awake or wanting to be on a computer at the hour of 6am) I am not notified of anything. Hopefully there is an update soon because doing so will not allow my computer to ring if my phone is ringing and I do love that feature. Hope it helps guys.

I have the same problem with Yosemite in Mac Book Pro 15" Early 2011.

I really don't want to get a notification of every track mail I get.

Similar problem. No web site I want to receive notifications from stays there. All the sites I got notifications from previous to upgrading to Yosemite were deleted. New ones show up but are deleted soon. I like my notifications. I want them back. Do something Apple. Make it right. It does *not* "just work".

Same here. Multiple attempts to reset, then restart, didn't save it. Looks like i have the same problem everyone else does. Notifications preferences will not save.

I'll lend my voice to this thread. This is a truly annoying bug. I hate sitting here getting pinged every other minute letting me know I just got an email or text message. The visual is disturbing enough, never mind the audio interruption. I hope Apple patches this soon.

Same issue. If I change my notification settings when I reboot it all reset. (sort of being snowed under by useless notifications)

Got a MBR 2013 with OSX 10.10 upgraded from 10.9

I'm seeing the same, maddening problem: all Notification Center settings reset upon reboot. I have a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013) running Yosemite 10.10.

Same issues here. Surprised this isn't a bigger known issue and hasn't gotten out in the media yet. So annoying.
