Can't load certain websites - help

Since I configured my Airport Extreme Base Station with WPA2 Personal security, there are certain websites that will no longer load.

These include mac.com (ironically enough), yahoo.com and gmail.com, as well as other non-email type websites.

If I remove the security settings or change them to WEP or WPA, it is still the same problem.

I've made sure that the Firewall in Sharing Preferences is off for both computers on this network (iBook and iMac).

Can anyone help solve this (very annoying) mystery? Thanks!

ibook g4, Mac OS X (10.4.7), imac g3 (10.3.9)

Cocktail will allow you change the MTU easily via GUI
and keep the settings permanently.

Thanks! Great program indeed. Is the change permanent once I select Custom in the MTU menu in Network/Cards?

A bit off topic, but any advice or resource links on how to change the MTU settings on Windows XP which my housemate's laptop runs?

I've been experiencing exactly the same problem. Most sites load fine via AEBS, but mac.com, ebay and ryanair just will not load.

I've followed your advice re Cocktail and that seems to have improved things (I can get on the Apple site for a start), but still no ryanair.

When I connect directly to the modem it works like a dream. I'm tempted to go right back to an earlier firmware version on the AEBS, but can't find back beyond 5.4. Any suggestions?
