Crescent moon icon in text messages

What is the cresent moon next To name in text message it changes from gray to blue, and how do I get rid of it?

I have the same problem. I don’t have the option in the “details” part to turn off dnd and my hide alerts is off.

Your “hide alerts” is on for that contact. Go to details and turn it off! Should go away

This didn’t work for me. I don’t have Do Not Diaturb on. Messages are coming through.

I hit the little dot at the top right but I don’t see do not disturb
