Random Blue Screen Crash with 5S and iOS 8.1

Since upgrading to iOS 8.0 my iPhone 5S randomly gets blue screens and then crashes and goes into a loop of boot up, blue screen, reboot, blue screen, reboot...etc. My 5S did this again today when during my upgrade to iOS 8.1 via USB and I was forced to do a factory restore on it. The blue screen is still occurring after the restore and 8.1 upgrade. Is this a known issue? I was hoping this was going to get fixed with 8.1 but unfortunately, it doesn't look like it has.

I have a similar problem with my 5S. Its stuck in a loop...blue screen flashes and it reboots...

Got mine working. Problem occurred when I updated through Wifi. Put my phone in DFU mode and updated through iTunes, Its working fine for now

Same problem here. 5S 64GB. It's restarting over and over again. loading screen, then blue screen, then loading screen. I assume my battery will die eventually... Any ideas on how to stop this? I updated over WiFi. Everything worked fine when I updated my iPad Air 64GB, but my phone is in a death loop... ug.

Same here,

yesterday i updated my 6 plus 64gb with iTunes.

After the update, my phone crashes (blue screen) in games (Maze Runner) and Safari.

I tried to downgrade to ios 8.0 because i didn't had any problem with 8.0 but iTunes says that the file is not valid "iPhone7,2_8.0_12A365_Restore"

HELP Apple,

This is now the second time it has happened to me on my iPad Mini Wifi and Cellular. First time on iOS 8.0 while connected to my Mac.. did the update over USB. It failed. Now with iOS 8.1, did the update over Wifi from the device... same issue! getting rather annoying!

Had this problem as well with my wife's iPhone 5s. Updated at 100% battery over wifi, and it sent the phone into a loop of blue screen and reboot. Tried the suggestion above with DFU and reinstalling via iTunes. Still restoring from a backup, but it is looking promising. Thanks @kunal5988!!!,!
