Outlook/exchange calendar not syncing with iOS8

I upgraded to iOS8 on my iPhone5s. I have Outlook for work, my emails are working just fine....no interruption. However, my Outlook/exchange calendar isn't syncing. It will show recurring appointments that I've had for a while, but it won't show any appointments/meetings that I created/was invited to since I've upgraded to iOS8. I have several co-workers who are having the same issue.

It's a HUGE problem. I'm tired of "double booking" myself, just so I can see an appointment on my iPhone.

Help!!

I am with a corporation whose staff members use mainly iPhones, and the issue goes intermittently. Some have a problem, others do not. Some, the problem last for a few weeks and then goes back to syncing properly, and then stops again. I have tried many things. Deleting account for a while, and then adding it back in the phone. I have gone to Outlook to make sure that the older devices that have synced their accounts previously and cleared them. We make sure the default accounts are Exchange and we have reset network settings. This is a problem that goes on and off and I have now been telling people to not use their phones for Calendar. This is not good marketing for Apple. They want to show that their phones will help them succeed in any environment and it cannot be done if Syncing problem is causing them to miss meetings and now we are avoiding using this feature all together.

I have some staff members who are now wanting to test Android to see how that works because the rely on Calendars and the ability to check for meetings and appointments on the go. This issue should be on the list of red flags if they want business companies to encourage iPhones for their staff memebers instead of going to Android.

I, too, had the same problems. I finally gave up on Apple and bought the app DejaOffice. DejaOffice (on the i-phone) works in conjunction with CompanionLink (on my PC). I chose DejaOffice and CompanionLink combination because they sync with my phone via USB cable and not a cloud service (which all the other calendar apps required). You can choose cloud service, but you are not required to use cloud service. I must warn all that it is expensive. Not as much as a new phone, but still over the $100 mark. But the cost of missing an appointment because my phone will not sync with Apples native app is much more costly than the DejaOffice app.

My best to all. And to Apple, get it right or loose business from the business world.

I was using CodeTwo - software (price around $50) that was making the connection between my Outlook Calendar and the Cloud. It worked perfectly for awhile and then out of the blue the syncing process quit working. I could see on my computer that the items on my Outlook Calendar were being imported to the iCloud Calendar, but for some unknown reason, the updates that I could see that were on the iCloud Calendar wouldn't appear on my phone anymore. I have tried every fix that has been suggested (and have tweaked every setting imaginable). I had an Android phone previously and I also used Companion Link & Deja Office. That worked well for that phone. I haven't tried with the iPhone. The whole point for me was to have the sync happen automatically without the use of a cord connection to my office computer. That way items updated on my calendar for me at the office became immediately visible on my phone. I have given up. Now, I just connect my phone to my computer via the usb cord and when it connects to iTunes, I have it set to sync my calendar with my phone. It does not require the Companion Link or Deja Office. Apple has to resolve this issue.

Just received a message from my CEO that iOS 8.2 did not resolve this issue. However, he did not completely removed the account from his iPhone. He just switched off calendar synchronization, checked that his calendar was empty and switched it on again. New items created on his iPhone did not appear in Outlook. But new items in Outlook were immediately received on his iPhone. Our mailserver is Microsoft Exchange 2010.

After manually checking / syncing his calendars he will remove the account from his iPhone, restart the device and recreate the account. I'll keep you all posted.

I've read through all the pages replying to this post and still haven't found what I believe is a fix. Has a single Apple Rep addressed this situation? I ask because I was just laid off where my iPhone synced with an exchange server where I used MS Outlook 2010 and kept all my appointments accurately. I purchased an iPhone 6 and am now using Outlook on an ACER PC.

If this is the case this household has 2 Apple TVs, 4 iPhones, 3 iPods, and 3 iPads. And if Apple can't get this together I'll be calling Telus to take the POS back because a smart phone that can't sync and populate a calendar is pretty much useless to me because that is how I arrange year talking to my kids, wife, and clients via Calendar invites.

Is there no actual way to have my Hotmail calendar sync with my iPhone and Outlook 2013?
