What is the best app to use for a customer database
i am after an app to use as a customer database that I can add all cudtomer account details and notes after a call. Something that will sync from my iPad to my iMac or MacBook at home.

FileMaker Pro is a very powerful industry-standard database program with Mac and iMac versions. As it's widely used its not likely to become outdated by future system updates. However it does have a steep learning curve and it's certainly not cheap.
Bento for iPad was not bad, but FileMaker quit supporting the system last year. Their newest program is FileMaker Go 13 and it has iPhone, iPad, and Mac programs for maintaining your database. The apps are useless for exporting without the desktop version at a cool $299. It's the best one out there and that's probably why it's the most expensive.

Take a look at iDatabase, simple but may be what you need. $20.
Option 1/
Contacts Journal - simple easy to use. Integrates with contacts and calendar. Desktop version. Exports reports.
Option 2/
Tap Forms - very flexible database app. Desk top version available as well.
The best one out is TAP FORMS 5 its not cheap but its the best solution for database.
