I mail to multiple individuals. Previously I used Address Book & was able to pick & choose. Now that I have Yosemite, I can't find my Address Book..

It will take a few million people to complain before they will do anything. Let your thoughts on these changes be made at http://www.apple.com/feedback/mail.html
and i also would like to voice my unhappiness with not having the address icon when i try and send out an email. Hope someone is reading these and will correct the decision to no longer have this icon available. thank you bobbie
The way my husband would tell you ... typed the group name into the address line and click return ... then the program loads all the names.
My way ... The way you send multiple e-mails in the new Yosemite ... I BCC's my classmates and I went to BCC and typed in the group name (example: Classmates A ... that is the name I have for one group) and click on return and it put that group on BCC. Hope this helps.
I have the same issue but found that by opening contacts, go to a specific group, use the shift & command key then pick the names of the contacts and drag into the appropriate line i.e.: To, CC or Bcc.
let me know if it helps.

I too was confused by this but I discovered a very simple fix and I believe this is what Apple intended we do now.
In Address Book make sure you have Groups and if you don't use Groups and just was easy access to all your contacts when you send mass emails then simply create a Group titled My Contacts or My Address Book or something like that, then select all your contacts and drag them all into that group. Then in Mac Mail go to New Message and either in the To, CC, or BCC field type in the name of your Group you made in your Address Book and press Return. Voila! They are all there! It is actually nice and easy. After I recovered from my anger towards Apple that they would eliminate such a great feature I knew there had to be a new way so I took a breath and found it. 🙂
Good luck!
Thanks for your response. I believe I have simpler method.
Which really only requires one step, open contacts, which is much like opening the address book in the previous mail version.
Once opened, all you need to do is hit the command key and select whichever contacts from the group and drag into either TO, CC or BCC
and that would be the same as before (where you hit the line you wanted to list your contacts). No more keystrokes than in previous version.
You may not necessarily wish to contact all people in any specific group at all times.
I did not test your version but please let me know if the above is good.

Thankyou,this worked for me 🙂
Has anyone tried "Postbox" as an alternate to Mail?
Dear Apple, The little plus sign when creating a new email is cumbersome and unsatisfactory. Please fix ASAP to make it user-friendly. The reason we all use Macs is because it has always been user- friendly. Thank you. gbj1947
