Depends a bit what you define as classic...
Use the ellipsis ... to enable the sources you want to see. Most sources allow you to enable a Playlists sidebar. Not quite the same as it used to be, but not too different. Other view controls are available from the drop down at the right-hand side. Use this for the Songs and other list style views.

Soooo what steps do I need to take to get back to the image you posted/how do I use this ellipsis?

The image is missing from the post above, at least for me, so assuming it is missing for you I will repost it.

The ellipsis tool is the icon formed of a row of three dots. When you click this a drop down list appears with the names of the various sources. Click on those you want to have access to. Once enabled click the relevant icon to switch to that area of the library. Click Playlists (top, centre) to enable the playlists column on the left.
