after installing yosemite, my airport time capsule stopped working

After I installed Yosemite to my iMac, my Airport Time capsule disconnects at random intervals. Restarting the Mac will often get it to reconnect, but sometimes it won't. We have not had any issues with any other of our 12 peripherals (including iPhones) connected to the Airport, just the iMac, and just after we installed Yosemite. I have even tried a wired connection. Same story. It works for several hours, maybe even a day, and then all of a sudden it stops.

When I go to the Airport utility, a wireless connection finds nothing. If I connect via Ethernet, it displays a grayed out icon of the Airport Time Capsule, that says "device not found" when you click on it.

No responses so far. This is still happening. It's incredibly frustrating that my mac will only recognize my AirPort for about 20 minutes or so until it disconnects and can no longer find it.

I want to try and troubleshoot this tonight and see if there are any consistent system functions that I can associate with this (like time machine backups or sleep timers), or consistent timers (exactly 34 minutes after restart). Barring that, I may have to try and downgrade to Mavericks. Any suggestions would be appreciated, but it appears that I may be alone with this issue 😟
