Text to speech female voice

all the the text to speech voices on my iPad are male. How do I get a female voice speaking British English? Thanks.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.


You can change the Voice Gender for Siri by going to Go to Settings > General > Siri > Voice Gender. Here are the steps on how to change the accent for Siri.


Choose a voice for Speak Screen and Speak Selection

  1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Speech.
  2. Enable Speak Selection or Speak Screen (or both).
  3. Select Voices.
  4. Choose the one voice and dialect you would like both Speak Screen and Speak Selection to use.
