Why does my ipad air 2 make a loud "pop" sound every few hours?

evrery few hours, while using the pad (it doesn't happen in standby) there's a loud, med-high pitched POP That sounds like it's from the speakers..

i Searched on this problem and found that others are having the same problem with their ipad air 2's. And i'm not using headphones, but it sounds like people are getting that pop that route as well.

it this an issue with all the new ipads or just a few?

TThis is a hardware problem. You probably need to escalate it to the 2nd level Apple Support to get it taken care of, but the problem is resolved on the manufacturing end. I had it and did an exchange in November and got one with the same problem. Exchaneed again in January and finally got one that was right.

It is an Air 2 problem only, so if you are hearing pops and clicks from an earlier model, it is not this.
