I have a Mac Mini 2011 model and just got a Harmony 650 remote.
How do I pair this remote to control my mac mini - it says simply to unpair the apple remote ( i had no apple remote )
It isn't paired with a remote - how do i pair the harmony 650 with the mac mini?
Specifically want to control XBMC.

I have no idea what a XBMC is, best not to use jargon here
XBMC is media server software, like Plex.
The Logitech site claims you simply unpair your remote and the harmony remote should work. I've already added the Mac mini using the Logitech MyHarmony software.
It isn't responding
Did you first connect the 650 to your computer and then setup the 650 for the Mini and then on the 650 select the Mac?
Are you using MyHarmont application for Mac to programme the remote first?
Has anyone been able to connect to their Harmony 650 with Yosemite using MyHarmony? I can't get past the "Please plug in your remote" screen. No matter what I try, I can't get it to get past that screen.
