spreadsheet is still being moved to iCloud

I've had a document in my iCloud that I've been dying to share a link to so I can collaborate with others on the spreadsheet but every time I click "share" and "share link via iCloud" it says

"This spreadsheet is still being moved to iCloud. Wait of the move to complete, then try sharing again."

Can someone please tell me why this is happening? It's been about 2 weeks now and it still says the same thing. :/

Thanks in advance,

Caleb

Hi Caleb Kingston;

I guess, synchronisation between your i-device and iCloud is obstructed.

The following would be helpful, I suppose:

1- Make a backup of iCloud Drive docs (for precaution) .

2- Go to System Preferences > iCloud

3- iCloud Drive > Options. Uncheck all the applications listed.

4- Turn off iCloud Drive.

5- Delete the CloudKit folder from:

~/Library/Caches

6- Restart the Mac.

7- Turn on iCloud Drive

This completely resets iCloud Drive and downloads a clean set of data from iCloud.

Hi Naikosen, Yesterday I followed your advice. I have all my iCloud documents backed up in drop box for now and I unchecked the items and turned off iCloud along with deleting the cloud kit folder and restarting the mac but when I turned my iCloud drive on yesterday, it acted like it was starting to load files but when I arrived at my computer this morning, the progress was still at the same point. It's not downloading my pages, keynote, textedit, or other folders I used to have and shows a cloud by almost all my documents.

Luckily the first step was to make a back up but do you have any other ideas I could try?
