How does one view completed items in Reminders?

In Mavericks, the Reminders application had a "Completed" list that shows you all of the items that have been marked as completed. I found this quite useful, as I can go back and check the notes on the completed item, check when it was marked as completed, and if I need to, mark it as not completed. Sometimes I don't remember if I've completed an item, or I may have just forgotten to put it into Reminders. The Completed list was very useful.

In Yosemite, this feature seems to have been removed. Is there a way to view completed items in Yosemite's Reminders app?

I was perplexed by this also. Until I accidentally scrolled down on the list that didn't show "completed". The view of each list defaults to only the uncompleted reminders. But if you pull down on the list (via trackpad) or scroll down on the list (via mouse), it exposes the "completed items" list at the top of the list... where you can then click the "show" or "hide" toggle.

This is certainly a bug. I have a list that only has 2 current items on it. I can't view the completed items on this list unless I add enough items so that I can scroll with the mouse. There must be some other way to turn on the Show menu for completed items. Every week, I look back at the items that I have completed during the last week (all reminders in all lists). I can't do that now. I am sure that there is a way to generate this with Applescript.

Works easily with a scroll wheel. Flick, there it is. Artful implementation if you have the tool!

Scroll wheels have been standard on mice since before your Mac was made. It's time. Either get a scroll wheel mouse ($16 at Target), or learn the gesture on a modern Apple input device. I empathize with annoyance at ever changing UI standards but this one is a real timesaver. Keep in mind

- on one of the Apple smart input devices, you may have turned off the gesture in Settings.

- the old Mighty Mouse occasionally gets its scrollwheel stuck, search the web for fixes.

- occasionally a Mac needs to have its PRAM reset. 'Magic' mouse does not scroll

Thanks for a great reply.

Unfortunately that does not solve the issue of Scroll Bar missing when it is explicitly set to show in System Preferences [1][2]. Or do we assume that Scroll Bar is not appropiate in this special case?

One should also consider the accesibility of this item when handicapped people are using the system.
