Garageband new content problems

I update to garageband 10.0.3. No problems.

the next day I downloaded to new content that was available, I was prompted to allow the new content to be installed.

The new new presets for the instruments are not there. I did the same process on a friends computer and quite a few new preset where added for guitars, etc.

I've gone through the process about four more time and still no new presets.

Has anyone else encountered this. I'm considering uninstalling and starting over. My OS is Mavericks 10.9.5

Same problem, but with Yosemite. I've done the "Restore Sound Library..." several times with no effect. I seem to have all the drum sets now but if I look under the Orchestral/Brass, I only have 3 instruments. Other machines I've seen have 6.

Frustrating!

Is it possible that the additional instruments I'm looking for are only available via MainStage or Logic?

If anyone can advise how many "Brass" instruments there are with the base level of Garageband, that would be very helpful. TIA!
