I found out how to remove this file without installing any third party software.

You can look at support article: HT203987 but... also you will need to look at:

The system library/frameworks folder, and the file to remove is: system/library/frameworks/v.framework

Here is the easiest way that I have found to remove the only-search virus. In the app store there is an app called BitDefender Virus Scanner, its free. install it an run in on the entire system. It not only found the virus hidden in my system folder but quarintined it for me. I clicked view in finder found the source folder and deleted it. I have been using safari again with no problems, pop-ups or redirects and my own homepage choice. Worked like a charm.

Still have the same problem with (search quick)

• AdwereMedic say that everythings OK
• Safari homepage still Google.com, but open search-quick
• /System/Library/Frameworks/v.framework - folder can't be found!
