Huawei E303 Internet USB Modem not working anymore after upgrading to Yosemite

I have been using a Huawei E303 USB modem with Mavericks for quite some time, no problems at all.

After upgrading to Yosemite, the device is not even detected.

Can anybody help?

I just found a solution:

Simply download the zip file from

Extract, install, and you'll be good to go
