Changing Siri's Name

Since we all are in agreement what can we do besides send a comment to Apple… Hasn’t done any good for 10 generations of the phone so what would make the difference now?

I'm sorry you put all that time and effort into that long post. The fact of the matter is that all you can do is send feedback to Apple, using their feedback page here, http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html They do not participate in the forum.

I selected your other sentence, because Siri did not come out until the iPhone 4S, just to help frame your time comment. Posting here will not help, so if you have already sent feedback, send another one.

There is no possible way to do that exactly, Apple has put way too much coding to possibly rename Siri. Should one be able to do that though, I am sure they'll say that I was wrong (and I will accept it). But for now, the only thing you can change to your Siri is just the standard gendered choices and accent choices.

If it is active you need to disable 'Hey Siri' in the settings (either in 'Settings > Siri', 'Settings > Siri & search' or 'Settings > General> Siri'). You may be able to activate it manually (hold home button) once the Hey Siri command is off, otherwise provide some info on the device & iOS version if that fails.

I agree, and to a further extent could argue that I pay a 'monthly salary' to secure it's services and therefore I should at least get to call my assistant by a name of my choosing. Love the feature hate the name. Please make it variable as such a small change can make a positive impact.

I think Apple should add this idea. If Siri can call us what we ask, why can’t Apple let us called Siri what we ask. The Amazon Echo has partially allowed this with a few options, but I’d like to see Siri take the extra step. Personally, I would change it to Russell, after my favorite comedian, Russell Howard

Jarvis. Nice. I wanted to change mine to Moneypenny. Ran into the same problem. Got her doing a British accent and even calling me James. 😂 c'mon apple let us personalize this voice in the phone that we talk to!

I would like to change Siri’s name to Jarvis from Iron Man, with Paul Bettany voice.

Whenever you market your product to a world that includes nerds and trekkies we will want our AI to be named Jarvis, Hal, Friday, or just plain Computer. Siri's cute and all, but why not be let us feel awesome Apple?

She already calls me Captain America. Why not let me live the fantasy?

Haha! I just switched to iPhone from many years of android use (love my iPhone) I came to this thread because I wanted to change Siri to Jarvis. I recently changed the voice to a British male and it's all I think of when I use Siri. Awesome. Too bad Apple hasn't accommodated this feature yet.

This feature would be incredibly useful for me. I have three room mates, all of whom have iPhones. It get's annoying when I say "Hey Siri" and all of the phones go off. Would be more useful if I could customize what I call Siri so that their phones wouldn't go off when I only want to interact with my own.

I would love to change the name of Siri because every time I say "hey Siri " all of my devices turn on and try to answer my question. I wish I could personalize each one. The name I would choose is Puter
