SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 with Bootcamp

Hi all,

Does anybody tried to install SLED 10 (Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop) on a MacBook Pro with BootCamp ?.
Before trying I would get your feedbacks.

Cheers.

Thierry.

Well, some more good news.
Finally it works yeaaaaah.
So let me explain just what I have done:
- Install Refit boot loader
- Resize you HFS+ MBP partition, be carefull to have a backup of your data before in case of problems.
My MBP runs with a 100GB hard drive. I decide to split the partition to 82 GB for OSX and 2 partitions for SLED one for the root fs 8GB and a swap partition of 2 GB.
The command line look like this:
sudo diskutil resizeVolume disk0s2 82G "Linux" sled10 8G "Swap" swap 2G:
You get 8GB for SLED and 2GB for the swap.

- boot to the sled 10 DVD and install the system to the / formated Reiserfs (it should be sda3 and activate the swap FS (sda4) for the expert menu.
- be carefull at the intall end, IT 'S VERY IMPORTANT TO CHOOSE LILO for the linux bootloader because GRUB doesn't works.

- Get the updates for the Novell web site and try to setup XGL & Compiz but it's another story

and that's all folks !!!!

Apreciate your feedbacks.

cheers.

Thierry
