iSight Camera panorama detailed instructions needed. I cannot get beyond the initial view. The rest of the pano is black.

iPad Air 2, IOS 8.1

iSight camera

Panorama mode

I cannot make this work using the small amount of information in the iOS 8.1 manual. There is an image of my initial view, but the rest of the pano is black. What buttons do I push and when?

iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 8.1, I cannot get past the first view.

Open the Camera App.

Slide right to left until Pano is selected in yellow at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the White circle (Shutter) button to start the pano. (the button will turn to a square with the larger circle around it).

Slowly move the iPhone from left to right and you should see the pano move on the screen.

Tap the 'square with the larger circle around it' (shutter) button to stop the pano.

It will appear in your Photos with all the other photos your have taken or saved.

From the iPad User Guide for IOS 8.1.

“Take a panorama photo. (iSight camera) Choose Pano, tap the Take Picture button, then pan slowly in the direction of the arrow. To pan in the other direction, first tap the arrow. To pan vertically, first rotate iPad to landscape orientation. You can reverse the direction of a vertical pan, too.”
