This warning keeps appearing. Since I downloaded Yosemite, my Time Machine no longer deletes old back-ups.
Correct.. you will find a new OS takes a huge chunk of space and it cannot delete enough old files to get a working backup so it doesn't.
You need either a new destination or archive the old backup and erase the TC and start over.. new clean backup.
I have found finaly solution for that problem, I had the same, too.
Yes, it is about 8$ only, but helped. Application ClearDisk. Cleaned 862GB from extern disk.
Support from team I have boght ClearDisk is excellent! Great people.

Thanks Bob for your helpful and intelligent reply. After reading through the literature I had available and recalling information I received on the phone a few years ago from Apple, erasing the current hard drive is what I need to do. Your information will still be stored, you just have a clean slate time capsule to start over with.
