I have an original iPad running ISO 5.1.1. Have recently updated Candy Crush but the app keeps crashing every time I start playing it. The only time it works is if I purchase $20 worth of gold bars an then it still crashes. Why does it keep crashing?

It may have a fault. Try giving your device a reset.
Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot. No data will be lost.
If that doesn't work, force close the app
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode.
Look on Candy Crush's support site, see if others have the same issue....if there's a bug with the game chances are other players are also hacving issues with the same thing.
You could also try to force quit the game. Double tap the home button then flick the preview for candy crush up and off the screen to close it. Single tap the home button to exit the mode and then try to open the game again.
I tried this also and it keeps crashing. I don't want to delete app bc I don't want to lose my level on game. Any advice???

This is because ipad 1 is now very old an newer apps need more power
To run if you can its time to update you will be surprised how much better

I get to level 640 then candy crush saga loading and kicks me out. It's done this on both my iPhone and again on my android
