Deleted Photos Reappearing in iCloud Photo Library

Hi everyone,

I've had issues with iCloud Photo Library for a few weeks. Photos I have permanently deleted from iCloud and my device (meaning I deleted them from the "Moments" view, then deleted them again from the "Recently Deleted" album) keep reappearing, sometimes even duplicated. This has happened multiple times already, and it bothers me that I have to continuously go through my entire photo library to delete photos that should have already been deleted.

Anyone having the same issue?

I am running iOS 8.1 on an iPhone 5s. I do not own any other iOS devices, but I sometimes use iCloud Photo Library on the web.

I am having the same problem, and it seems to be the same photos that keep reappearing. I have even disabled and re-enabled iCloud Photo Library. The same permanently deleted photos eventually reappear.

I'm so tired of it and the whole Apple iCloud thing - If I new my grievances would not be censored (deleted) I have to say I would definitely express them more passionately if not vehemently (That's basically swearing for all those with a Facebook/Twitter 'education')

I'm soo tired of the Big Brother thing - controlling all interconnected iDevices making you jump through hoops to try achieve the most mundane of tasks such as transferring files.

Apple - Your economic aspirations are a false economy that translate to my exasperation. I've also lost eBooks and as for your UX design it's really gone downhill since the guy who came up with the iMac hockey puck mouse started overseeing the usability design - It's demonstrably not working and he should stick to industrial design. With all do respect if something that can destroy so many young hands can see its way through to the end of production surely it's time for someone in the company to admit that the Emperor has no clothes.

Stop looking at the scoreboard and take a reality check. Share prices rise and fall but never lose sight of where you come from - seamless interfacing

I have the same problem. Its annoying for sure. Any solutions? Or is it just wait for a software update to fix the problem?

I'm having the same problems here, starting to think a manual approach might be a better solution!

I have the same problem and find it quite outrageous that this even can happen.

I have the same problem.

I am really upset with the flawed iCloud. The iCloud software stopped updating "My Photo Stream" a couple of months ago and now this problem of reappearance of deleted photos which is really frustrating. What's the point of using iCloud if you have to delete photos one by one from every single iOS device?!
