World of Warcraft on a MACbook Pro?? please?

I am not able to download the World of Warcraft Game Client onto my new Macbook Pro. I was told it could play it in Best Buy (- I know. Stupid me).

But aside from my stupid decision to get this instead of the Levono at the same price (WHICH I KNOW CAN RUN WOW full game client)...sigh.

It seems like the MBP would be hardy and fast enough to run the game, can it be done?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Hi there,

I have a mid 2012 Macbook pro which runs wow just fine, you can download the game installer from here https://us.battle.net/account/download/

Just be aware the complete download for 6.0.3 is around 30GB in size so it will take a while to get, also make sure you have a current battle.net ID so you can log in. Also make sure in your firewall settings that it's set to allow incoming connections from the battle.net client.
