Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Since upgrading to Yosemite, when I try to open Adobe Illustrator CS6, I get the message, To open “Adobe Illustrator CS6” you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime. When I click on more info it opens a blank page. Can somebody tell me how to remedy/resolve/install this?

I have been looking for this answer forever and it works perfect!
For those that did not see this in the submessages, this fixed worked perfectly for me.
Creating empty folders at “/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk” and “/System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle” makes Illustrator use Jave SE 8 as it should.
No need to install previous JREs, etc.
