I just bought a pair or wireless Beats headphones to listen to music on my Ipod but I am disappointed that the maximum sound volume is nowhere near loud enough for me.
I got my friend to try them and he said they were too quiet as well so its not just me.
Has anyone else experienced the same thing or got any advice about a way to increase the volume?
Took me a second to figure this out too. You adjust the volume by pressing up on the same B logo button on the left earpiece that pauses the music. Except you have to press on the top of the button to raise the volume, as normally pressing the center just pauses again of course.

Like your style son, for me I will decide when my hearing is at risk and some tunes are not the same in health and safety mode. Kick out the jams mother *******. Apologies for naughty words my American friends x
where the microphone is on the left side below the ear piece there is an up and down to be pressed for the volume on the headset itself. i just discovered it yesterday. i was all set to return them too.
they sound good, not as great as over the ear to me but still good.

Recently, I've been experiencing the same problem. I contacted Apple, they did a few procedures, then finally told me that the only solution was to send it to them. I didn't believe them. Then suddenly I thought: what if the problem wasn't in the beats, but in the device I was using (iMac). I then connected it to my iPhone and it worked perfectly! I then decided to restart my iMac and it worked normally after that!

I've had a previous beats wireless and they packed up two and a half years later 2 weeks ago I bought the beats 3 and two days ago they started not being loud enough. I find the product inferior and i doubt I'll be buying beats again
I've gone into Settings -> Music -> Volume Limit and, when at full volume, the Beats Solo 3 Wireless are capped at the EU Max Volume Limit... If you switch there EU tab the volume rocker moves down to half level but then back to Max when you switch the EU tab off again - there is nothing you can do to override it so it is a software issue that Appke need to fix ... It should be MY choice if I want to exceed the EU volume limit and the headphones appear to have the capacity to exceed it if an update is released.
Have you contacted Beats?
Maybe you have poor hearing? The preserve hearing, the government limits the max volume from headphones.

The area just above the B on the left earpiece is the volume up button. Volume down is below the B button. It's not marked so it's easy to miss.
