I dont know how I ended up with a username that advertises both my name and city of residence (I would never choose such a name if I knew it would be posted publicly), but for privacy reasons I'd like to set my forum username to something that isn't so personal. Searching the forums has led me to believe that there is no way for users to do this, but that mods might be able to assist me. How can I contact a moderator to request a change of username?

I would appreciate it very much if you would allow me to change my online user name. When setting this account up years ago, I did not realize that my full legal name would become my displayed user name, and since my personal email address can be found online by anyone once they see my full legal name, this causes me to receive some rather rude and cruel private emails from time to time from adolescent-minded trolls, some casting aspersions on my presumed ethnic origin based on my name. Thank you in advance for your help.

Well there could be two reasons. One, they may just leave it because it isn't a security issue. Two, it is only 7:25 in California. May still be early for the hosts.
